Welcome to Higgs Garage, your one-stop destination for all things automotive. We are a family of car enthusiasts dedicated to sharing our passion for vehicles with the world. From restorations and repairs to installations and walkthroughs, we cover a wide range of topics that cater to both novice and experienced car owners.
Our journey began with a simple idea: to share our love for cars and mechanics with a wider audience. Over the years, we've grown into a community of like-minded individuals who appreciate the beauty and complexity of vehicles.
Our content ranges from detailed restoration projects, such as the Bombardier DS 90 and a 1950 Ford 8n tractor, to practical guides on common vehicle issues, like valve cover gasket replacements and steering box replacements. We also provide insights into our personal vehicle modifications, like the installation of HornBlasters on a 2013 F150 Platinum.
But we're not just about cars. We believe in the importance of family and community. We often feature behind-the-scenes content, showcasing our family's involvement in our projects and our shared love for all things automotive.
At Higgs Garage, we're more than just a YouTube channel. We're a family sharing our automotive adventures with the world. Whether you're a seasoned mechanic or just starting your journey in the world of cars, we invite you to join our community and share in our passion.
I was born in September of 1990 in St Louis, Missouri and grew up in Warrenton, Missouri. I graduated Warrenton Senior High in 2009, while earning a certificate as a welder from the East Central College Welding Program. After High School, I attended Linn State Tech, in Linn, Missouri, to purse an education in the IT field. Shortly after, I decided that it was not my calling and I departed Linn State with another Certificate, this time in Networking Technology. In 2012, I made the decision to join the United States Army, a dream I long wanted to pursue. After attending what is known as One Station Unit Training or OSUT, at Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri as a Military Police Soldier, I was sent Ft Campbell, Kentucky. I was assigned to one of the most historic and best Divisions in the United States Army, the 101st Airborne Division. I deployed to Afghanistan in 2014, and upon my return I was stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. There is where I met my beautiful wife, also a Military Police Soldier, and we had an amazing wedding in Denmark. I separated from the Army in 2018, and a short time later welcomed our wonderful son Timothy to the world in 2019. We then moved back to the United States in 2020, and welcomed our beautiful little girl Nayeli to the world in 2022.
Early on in life I developed a love and passion for anything mechanical. I loved building and fixing cars, trucks and pretty much anything with an engine and wheels. After getting settled back in the United States, I decided to attend college once more to pursue a degree in the automotive industry. I achieved that goal and graduated from Ranken Technical College in 2022. I was able to expand on the knowledge I had and learned all of the new technical methods that the mechanical industry has evolved into. This sparked a fire inside of me, I was ready to hit the ground running and get my hands on new projects. Since my Super Hero of a wife is still currently serving in the United States Army, we decided that it was in the best interest of our family that I stayed home to be with the kids. While going out and finding a place to put my skills to the test was out of the question, the next best thing was to take my love and passion for all things mechanical and automotive to the next level and I started what you see here today! Higgs Garage on YouTube is a family oriented channel where I can share the love, experience, and knowledge I have for all things automotive and more. I hope that you enjoy the content, we put our hearts into all that we do here at Higgs Garage. Whether you are looking to educate yourself on replacing a car part of just looking for a good laugh, you will find it here on Higgs Garage! From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you all for watching and for your support! Thank you to all fellow service men and women of the past, present, and future!

I was at born on September 15th of 1996 at Fort Stewart, Georgia and I was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. These roots have always been a part of me, but my journey has taken me far and wide. Today, I find myself stationed at Fort Drum, New York, serving as an active-duty soldier in the U.S. Army. My enlistment 6 years ago wasn't just a career choice—it was a pivotal life decision. It redirected me from a path I found unfulfilling and set me on the course to personal growth and success. After reenlisting for another 5 years as of May 2023 I can confidently say I made the right choice by enlisting into the Army.
My career began as a 15E, specializing in Unmanned Aerial System repair and maintenance. Now, I’m transitioning to become a 17C, a Cyber Operations Specialist. The challenges of this role excite me, as do the opportunities to learn and work with technology. A defining moment in my career was my seven-month deployment to Afghanistan in 2020, a challenging but rewarding experience.
Away from the uniform, I enjoy soccer and dream of coaching a little league team someday. I also take pleasure in 3D printing, a hobby that lets me transform the ideas in my head into tangible objects.
Yet, my proudest achievement is my family. I met my beautiful wife, Elizabeth, who is Tim’s sister, during my first rotation in South Korea in 2017, and since then, we’ve built a beautiful life together. We are now the proud parents of two beautiful children, our one-year-old daughter, Addilyn, and our two-month-old son, Declan. Being a husband and father is the most rewarding role I’ve ever had.
The army has been a journey of highs and lows, but it’s a journey I’m grateful for. It’s been instrumental in changing my life for the better. Having known Tim for years as my brother-in-law, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing first-hand his passion for automobiles and his dedication to Higgs Garage. His YouTube channel is more than just a platform for automotive knowledge—it’s a space where family values, humor, and a love for all things mechanical intersect. I wholeheartedly support Tim’s vision of creating a welcoming, educational, and entertaining online community for car enthusiasts and novices alike.
Tim’s commitment to providing quality content and his appreciation for his viewers resonate in every video he shares. Whether you’re seeking guidance on replacing a car part, or simply looking for a good laugh, Higgs Garage is the place to be. I’ve seen the heart and effort he pours into this project, and I’m thrilled to be able to lend a helping hand in any way I can.
I’m honored to be part of Tim’s journey with Higgs Garage, and I look forward to contributing to its continued growth and success. Here’s to many more years of learning, laughter, and automotive love on Higgs Garage!
